The City of Dublin is accepting applications for a full time Sanitation Superintendent. The candidate will perform responsible supervisory and administrative work in planning and directing refuse collection and disposal for the City’s sanitation operations. Work involves planning, organizing, training, and supervising employees engaged in refuse collection, hauling and disposal. Responsible for organizing work crews to prescribed schedules and assuring that all routes are covered adequately. Work involves the supervision of a number of crews who are engaged in laboring and equipment operation and entails extensive public contact, often under trying circumstances that require considerable tact and diplomacy. Work is performed under the general direction of the Public Works Director and is reviewed largely through conversation, inspection of operating records and evaluation of public comments.

Salary range is from $54,904.31 - $85,101.69 and will be based on experience. An extensive fringe benefit package including health, dental and life insurance is also offered.
