Qualifications

Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent

Must be at least 18 years of age

Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours

Identifying what needs to be done & doing it before being asked or before the situation requires it

Must be able to lift over 50lbs

Responsibilities

· Primary responsibility of the Janitor is upkeep of the facility in a multitude of cleaning & housekeeping initiatives

· Address issues and provide daily inspections and cleanings of all areas, within the interior and exterior of the facility

· Provides support to the Loss Prevention/Maintenance department

· Safety – Prioritize safe working habits in all tasks

· Safety – Utilize all required PPE when performing each appropriate task

· Janitorial – Clean restrooms, break rooms and other common areas

· Janitorial – Empty trash cans in offices, restrooms and common areas

· Housekeeping - Sweep warehouse floors and aisles

· Housekeeping – Trained to properly clean spills (liquid, chemical, dry)

· Housekeeping – Trained to change power equipment batteries

· Complete & turn in required task checklists daily

· Promote cooperation with other work units

· Keeps his/her manager informed about progress and problems; avoids surprises

· Ensures that regular, consistent communication takes places

· Will maintain the cleanliness of the production floor, warehouse, and outside of buildings
