Chemical Engineer

Tasks

• Ensure on time delivery of high-quality prototypes for customers to win new business.
• Lead introduction of new catalyst process technology and equipment into proto and production operation.
• Perform engineering activities including risk reviews at various stage of new products in coordination with cross functional team.
• Conduct Continuous process improvement, optimization for chemical batch and production line processes.
• Prepare unit operation and URS/ technical specification documents (RFQ).
• Support FAT and SAT during commissioning for New Machines.
• Provide technical inputs into P&ID.
• Ensure process safety is incorporated in design.
• Establish and deliver input to Capex and improvement projects within Dinex.
• Analyze and develop problem solving strategies.
• Monitor progress in process engineering projects.
• Ensure lab testing, Lab Equipment management and calibration.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Chemistry based processes.
• Commissioning and APQP for in house coating machine.
• Laboratory running and day to day testing.
• New product scaleup as per Group directions.
• Technology Transfers and Recipe management.

Experience and Skills for Success

• At least 3 years of hands on technical or manufacturing experience.
• Proficient and certified in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Familiar with new product introduction process.
• Ability to initiate actions and drive to closure.

Requirements – Essential Knowledge and Skills

• Graduate or Master’s in chemical engineering / chemistry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
