The CNC Operator is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of manufacturing machinery.

Their duties include:

• Running tests before the start of operations.
• Programming and monitoring machines when assembling products.
• Inspecting machinery at the end of each shift to identify parts needing repair.
• Producing machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.
• Maintaining equipment, adhering to quality and safety standards, and keeping detailed part records.
• Inspecting finished products and leading test runs.
• Producing specific parts and components, usually in an industrial setting
• Flexibility on the shop floor in accordance with workload.
• Flexibility in shift schedule 1^st or 2^nd.
• Overtime required as needed.
