Dinex is looking for a full time Production Planner to join our Dinex Emission, Inc. team in Dublin, Georgia.

Tasks

• Plan production in accordance with customer orders and stock management policy, including creating, planning, releasing, closing and cost accounting of production orders. ·
• Provide timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates. ·
• Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand. ·
• Verify resource availability (material, equipment, and labour) required for production to deliver excellent customer service at optimal inventory levels. Communicate overcapacity / missing capacity to related departments. ·
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. ·
• Control material allocation on production serials to secure correct cost price and inventory accuracy. ·
• Notify Sales of any schedule impacts to customers. ·
• Promptly address and resolve production issues to minimize delays in production. ·
• Optimise production planning process and participate in production planning procedures development. ·
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to production planning. ·
• Follow company procedures, guidelines, and policies. ·
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills for Success

• Proven experience in production planning and scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment. ·
• Familiarity with ERP systems, knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software. Good knowledge of MS Office package. ·
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical and multitasking skills ·
• Detail orientation and ability to work with data in a structured way. ·
• Teamwork and motivational skills.

Requirements – Essential Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, or equivalent experience
