Production Supervisor
Shift: Day (Flexible)
Reporting to: Production Manager - Press/Assembly
Goals:
(fundamental objectives for orientation of the employee)
- Ensuring the correct production program within the assigned production area.
- Organizing and optimizing of the workflow within the assigned production area.
- Assurance/optimization of the manufacturing quality within the assigned production area.
- Controlling the repair and maintenance work within the assigned production area.
- Expert and disciplinary leadership of the subordinate employees.
- Adhering to the instructions for safety and environmental protection.
Tasks:

- Implementing the convened production program planning, while taking into account the existing system capacity and personnel capacity within the assigned production area, with respective response to possible interferences.
- Ensuring the organizational work flow within the assigned production area.
- Ensuring and adhering to all valid work instructions within the assigned production area.
- Ensuring the qualitative and quantitative achievement of objectives within the assigned production area.
- Appointing employees in accordance with their qualifications and reviewing their work results.
- Continuous professional further qualification of employees within his own area of responsibility.
- Initiating KVP processes within own area of responsibility and control and implement these as well as executing the success control procedure. - derive standards if applicable.
- Reporting the area-related production results to production management.
- Adhering to current safety regulations, environmental protection regulations and other legal and inter company provisions and regulations.
- Analyze defects, rework and waste, as well as work out measures for the preventative quality assurance and implement those in collaboration with the respective special departments.
- Planning and adapting the personnel requirement including the need for temporary employees with production management.
- Selecting new employees in agreement with production management.
- Organizing and improving the use of personnel, machines, materials and operating equipment according to criteria of economical efficiency and scheduling situation.
- Participating in budget planning and investment approaches as well as monitoring and reviewing the cost development within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Participating in the new creation and modification of work systems, production changes and production processes as well as implementation of his own experiences and suggestions for design.
- Initiating and guiding manufacturing meetings with the respective tracking of measures taken.
- Defining and adapting leadership tasks in the framework of objective agreement and tasks at hand. Checking work results and discuss these in employee meetings.
- Ensuring good communication across all interfaces.

- Access to all relevant IT systems (SAP, Babtec, etc.).
- Controlling and prioritizing tasks in the special departments within the assigned production area.
- Signing authority under the signature scheme of the company.

- Responsible for the continuous fulfillment of the production program within the assigned production area regarding quality, quantity, scheduling and economic efficiency.
- Responsible for the disciplined and professional management of subordinate employees/apprentices including their qualifications.
- Responsible for the achievement of key figures within the assigned production area.
- Obligation to inform production management and GF management regarding all relevant production events.
Environmental conditions of the workplace:
- Combined workplace in production/office/machine, where the safety and environmental regulations of the company are to be observed.
Education requirements:
- Completed vocational education in the technical area.
- Additional further qualification to become a college or university degree.
Professional experience:
- Several years of experience in the technical area and metal forming.
- Knowledge of metrology and reading blue print.
- Experienced in the leadership and development of employees.
- Business management knowledge.
- Good knowledge of MSOffice, SAP, Babtec, etc.
