About the Program

The Manufacturing Rotational Program at Erdrich is a paid workforce development opportunity designed for high school students interested in technical careers, skilled trades, and advanced manufacturing.

Participants gain hands-on experience by rotating through multiple departments within our automotive manufacturing facility. This program provides exposure to different career paths while helping students develop professional skills, technical knowledge, and workplace experience.

Students who successfully complete the program may have the opportunity to continue their career development with Erdrich after graduation through apprenticeship, technical training, or full-time employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in scheduled departmental rotations.
• Assist team members with daily operations and projects.
• Learn manufacturing processes and workplace best practices.
• Observe and document workflows and operational processes.
• Attend training sessions, team meetings, and safety programs.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
• Follow company safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a high school Work-Based Learning or Career Pathway Program.
• Minimum age of 17 years old.
• Strong interest in manufacturing, skilled trades, technical education, or industrial careers.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
