Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize the end-to-end logistics operations of our automotive manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient movement of materials, components, and finished parts through the supply chain while meeting strict timelines and quality standards. The Logistics Manager will lead a team responsible for inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, transportation, warehousing, and coordination with suppliers and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to support production schedules and reduce costs.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations including material flow, transportation, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
• Optimize inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to prevent stockouts or overages.
• Oversee warehouse operations including layout planning, storage optimization, and safety compliance.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with providers and transportation carriers.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and generate reports to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international logistics regulations and automotive industry standards.
• Lead, train, and develop the logistics team to build a high-performance culture.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery models.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of logistics software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS).
• Demonstrated ability to managecomplex supply chains and high-volume logistics operations.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
