TriStar Aerial is a leading dealer/distributor of aerial lift and construction equipment that offers rentals, service & repairs. We're committed to providing exceptional service and support to our customers. We are seeking an experienced, full-time Service Manager for our Dublin, GA facility to oversee daily service operations and lead our team of technicians.

The Service Manager is responsible for managing shop workflow, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and safely, maintaining high standards of quality, and supporting the growth and development of the service team. This position requires a strong technical background in heavy equipment along with proven leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and support a team of heavy equipment technicians
  • Schedule and coordinate daily shop activities to maximize productivity and minimize equipment downtime
  • Assist technicians with troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and CAN Bus-related issues
  • Review and prioritize incoming service requests, repair orders, and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities are completed according to company standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Monitor shop safety practices and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Maintain accurate service records, repair documentation, and equipment history
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status, estimates, and service recommendations
  • Collaborate with rental, sales, and operations teams to support overall business objectives
  • Perform hands-on repair and maintenance work as needed
  • Perform any and all other duties assigned by management as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment, construction equipment, forklift, or aerial lift repair and maintenance
  • Previous supervisory, lead technician, foreman, or management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, excavators, and similar equipment preferred
  • Familiarity with CAN Bus systems and electrical troubleshooting
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with computers and service management software
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; CDL is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday 8-5 (1 hour lunch break)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

  • Dublin, GA 31021: Relocate before starting work (Required)
