Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pinpoint highs and lows that affect associate experience; celebrate the former, find ways to improve the latter
  • Contributes to the design and delivery of a wide range of employee engagement initiatives that are scalable across locations focused on enhancing employee morale and company culture. These initiatives will include monthly cultural events, health and wellness programs, diversity and inclusion programs, speaker series as well as the creation of creative branding material/concepts to drive employee participation and engagement.
  • Focused on Candidate experience by conducting new hire surveys, content creation of the career site
  • Partners with local communities to identify external initiatives that both support and align with overall organizational engagement strategy and objectives.
  • Leverages events to create and sustain dialogue around employee engagement.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition Team and local hiring managers to coordinate candidate identification, interviews, local hiring events, recruiting activities and swift on-boarding.
  • Conducts new hire onboarding, benefit meetings and training sessions on Human Capital technology (including APP’s) and processes for new hires and transferred employees.
  • Prepare reports and communications to communicate employee experience trends and actions taken to management.
  • Collaborates with management to ensure leaders are driving improvements in response to the employee sentiment being expressed through Voice of Associate feedback.
  • Partners with leadership and employees to develop and implement action plans driven by feedback from our C.A.R.E quarterly check-in’s.
  • May conduct employee focus group, employee surveys and interviews to obtain employee feedback.  Identifies and communicates employee concerns to leadership and monitors overall employee sentiment.
  • Contributes to the development of a calendar of employee engagement events to ensure dates and deadlines are met.
  • Partners with the Human Resources Engagement team to identify, execute and track technical, management, and interpersonal skills training needed to improve overall employee and front-line leadership relationships, skills, abilities, performance and overall engagement
  • Audits to ensure the upkeep of the skills matrix program within their designated business unit
  • Ensures accurate record keeping and reporting of training activities
  • Supports the broader HR team with special projects, as needed and performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years within a similar role with a demonstrable track record of initiating, managing and implementing employee experience / employee engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate and Communicate with purpose, clarity, and kindness; find an approach that invites participation, adjusting your messaging and approach to each community
  • Positive, entrepreneurial attitude, and willingness to embrace change in a collaborative environment
  • Exceptional customer experience judgment, creative problem solving skills combined with business curiosity, and a strategic viewpoint
  • Hands-on focused approach to delivering outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others up, down, and across the company by building trust, credibility, and solid relationships
  • A natural team player, able to influence others to support and contribute to initiatives
  • A good understanding of internal communications with excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability, with the ability to move seamlessly across diverse business groups and geographical cultures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and G-Suite, required
  • Required travel in the USA up to 25%
