The purpose of this position is to operate extrusion handling systems.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Check orders and procedures for production
• Inspect fabrication templates and pallets before operation of equipment
• Operates and adjusts equipment for production
• Examine products for quality and defects
• Notify management of quality issues and correction of errors
• Able to operate a forklift
• Complete and maintain reports of equipment utilization/repair

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)
• Must have at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Preferred at least 1 year experience operating mobile equipment within a manufacturing environment
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Must have demonstrated effective communications skills and the ability to be a team player
• Must be able to lift approximately 40-50 lbs.
• Be vigilant about safety
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
